VICTORIA KAPPER, LCSW
Therapist
I'm Victoria, a licensed psychotherapist treating children, adolescents, adults and families. I whole-heartedly believe that the most significant indicator of successful therapy is the therapeutic relationship. My approach is engaged, compassionate, and strength-based.
I integrate evidenced-based practices with empathy, unconditional positive regard and genuineness in treatment. I help you to find solutions to problems while providing support and the tools to foster resilience that will lead to lasting changes.
I'm an LCSW (license #100449). I graduated from San Diego State University (SDSU) with a Bachelor of Science in Child and Family Development, as well as a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree. I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, behavior problems, trauma and eating disorders. I am a passionate stigma fighter, advocating for greater mental health awareness and acceptance in both her professional and personal lives. I love to be immersed in San Diego communities, and am a mentor for the Aztec Mentor program at SDSU and a youth mentor with Big Brothers Big Sisters of America.
