Victoria Kapper, LCSW (#100449) is a licensed psychotherapist treating children, adolescents, adults and families. Victoria whole-heartedly believes that the most significant indicator of successful therapy is the therapeutic relationship. Her approach is engaged, compassionate, and strength-based. She integrates evidenced-based practices with empathy, unconditional positive regard and genuineness in treatment. Victoria helps to find solutions to problems while providing support and the tools to foster resilience that will lead to lasting changes. Victoria graduated from San Diego State University (SDSU) with a Bachelor of Science in Child and Family Development, as well as a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree. Victoria specializes in treating anxiety, depression, behavior problems, trauma and eating disorders. Victoria is a passionate stigma fighter, advocating for greater mental health awareness and acceptance in both her professional and personal lives. She loves to be immersed in San Diego communities, as she is a Mentor for the Aztec Mentor program at SDSU and is a youth mentor with Big Brothers Big Sisters of America.
